Specify the Project Properties

To specify the project properties:

  1. In the Application Explorer view, right-click the project and choose Properties.
  2. On the Micro Focus > Project Settings > COBOL page, ensure that Source format is set to Fixed.
  3. Ensure that Language dialect is set to Enterprise COBOL for z/OS.
  4. Set Character set to ASCII.
  5. Click Apply and Close to save the changes in the project properties.
