Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- In the OS400 environment, type ddsextr on the
command line and press PF4 to execute the DDS Extract utility. The DDSEXTR
screen appears. Execute the utility once for each file you want to import.
- Complete the fields on the DDSEXTR window. Press F1 for help on an
individual field.
- Transfer the extracted file to the PC into the
project\OS4FILE directory.
Note:
- Be sure that the name of the file you transfer is the same as the
data view name with no extension.
- Be sure the database targets assigned to the application reflect the
OS4 target.
