To edit the SQL objects included in a data view

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
  1. Ensure you have established a working DB2 connection. For instructions, see To create a DB2 connection.
  2. From the Data View Explorer, expand a data view that contains SQL objects.
  3. Right-click SQL Objects; then select Use DB2 Catalog from the context menu.
  4. Click Load to populate the DB2 Tables/Views list with schemas from the DB2 catalog.
Note: If you have defined a DB2 connection but have not logged in, the DB2 Connection Login dialog box prompts you for a user ID and password. In this case, complete the fields and click OK to continue. If you want to avoid this dialog box in the future, check Remember this userid before you click OK.
  5. Use the fields and controls on the Use DB2 Catalog dialog box to make changes to the catalog or data view as desired. For a description of each field and control, see the Use DB2 Catalog reference topic.
  6. When you have completed your changes, click OK.
