To create a User Rule

1. From the AppMaster Builder Project Explorer, right-click either the Globals folder to create a global User Rule, or a program to create a local User Rule.
2. In the Name field, type a name for the User Rule.
3. From the Location drop-down list, select a program location where you want the User Rule to be inserted.
4. Click OK. This returns you to the Project Explorer.
5. From the Project Explorer, double-click the new User Rule entry.
6. In the Program Painter, type the code for the User Rule. You can use COBOL or S-COBOL.
7. Save your code and exit the editor. AppMaster Builder saves the User Rule in the USERMACS project subdirectory.
