Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- In the Screen Painter, do one of the following:
- If you want to paint your own field for system messages, paint a
field, then double-click on an empty part of your painted screen.
- If you want AppMaster Builder to generate the system message field
automatically, without first painting a field for system messages, double-click
on an empty part of your painted screen.
The Screen Parameters dialog box appears.
- On the menu bar, click SYSMSG. The SYSMSG Parameters
dialog box appears.
- Do one of the following:
- To use the field you painted as a system message field, click your
field name on the Name drop-down list.
- To have AppMaster Builder generate the field for you, click
*Yes or *SYSMSG on the
Name drop-down list.
- ClickOK to return to your painted screen.
