enterprise server region to run the application, and running the application on the enterprise server.
These topics are intended both as an introduction to using IMS in Mainframe Subsystem Support (MSS), and as an Installation
Verification Procedure (IVP).
Important: If you would prefer to complete the IMS IVP using the
Enterprise Developer user interface rather than the command-line tools, follow the instructions in
Tutorial: IMS instead. The tutorial uses the same demonstration application and
enterprise server region.
