Device Definition
The following sections describe the statements for controlling MFSGEN device definition:
DEV-- Device Definition
Only 3270 display, 3270 printers and SCS1 printer devices are supported.
DFLD-- Device Definition
There is a limit of 500 labelled DFLDs that can be defined for a single device page (DPAGE).
DIV-- Device Definition
The TYPE keyword for INOUT and OUTPUT are supported but not edited.
DO-- Device Definition
Supports and edits most keywords as specified below.
DPAGE-- Device Definition
There is a limit of 16,386 DPAGE statements which can be defined for any one FMT definition.
ENDDO-- Device Definition
Supported and edited.
FMT-- Device Definition
There is no limit to the number of formats which can be defined in any one input data set. However, only those formats which are referenced by a MOD are processed.
FMTEND-- Device Definition
Supported and edited.
TABLE and IF-- Device Definition
Only one TABLE can be defined in a single input data set.
