To compare transferred data

From the HCOSS Compare Data tool, click the Compare Data Tasks tab.

Do one of the following:

To define a new compare data task:
1. Click New.
2. In the Name field, type a name for the compare data task file.
3. Click OK.
To edit an existing compare data task, select an existing task from the Available Tasks drop-down list.

Choose one of the following to apply to the Available Tasks drop-down list:

Local	To save the compare data task file to the directory specified by the Local HCOSS Directory HCOSS option.
Shared	To save the compare data task file to the directory specified by the Shared HCOSS Directory HCOSS option.

Choose one of the following to apply to the Associated DDL Task drop-down list:

Local	To show local DDL tasks on the Associated DDL Task drop-down list.
Shared	To show shared DDL tasks on the Associated DDL Task drop-down list.

From the Associated DDL Task drop-down list, select a DDL task file created using the Generate DDL tool.

From the Source Connection drop-down list, select a DB2 connection previously defined using the Manage Connections tool.

From the Destination Connection drop-down list, select a SQL Server connection previously defined using the Manage Connections tool.

To customize your compare data task, click Customize. See To run customized data comparisons for more information. Optional.

Click Save to save the compare data task.

Click Compare.

On the Results tab, verify that the results of the comparison.
