Defining a DCAS Listener Channel

Describes the scenario that requires the configuration of a DCAS listener channel, and DCAS listener channel definition requirements.
Note: This is a technology preview feature only. It is being made available to allow you to test and provide feedback on this new capability; however, this feature is not intended for production use and it is not supported as such.
Note: Not required when using the Express Logon Facility (ELF).

If DCAS is invoked externally, that is, by a program outside of Enterprise Server for .NET such as the Micro Focus Host Access Management and Security Server, you must define a DCAS listener channel for each region that provides DCAS services. You can do this from the Enterprise Server for .NET UI, or manually by editing the seelistener.exe.config file.

The DCAS listener channel definition must include client authorization configuration. We recommend that the client authorization configuration enables mutual authentication by requiring a client certificate, and restricts the CAs that are allowed to issue client certificates for the DCAS channel.
