Restricting Regions with ESF

This topic outlines the steps you can take to restrict regions with an External Security Facility (ESF).

To restrict regions with ESF you have two options:

  1. Use the default ES security configuration for the directory server. This ESF configuration and stack of security managers will be applied to each region by default. See Defined External Security Managers and Default Security Facility Configuration for more information.
  2. Alternatively, you can override the default option on a per region basis. See Security under the General chapter for more information.
