To Configure IIS and WAS Support

Enterprise Server for .NET includes the command wassetup.cmd. This command configures IIS and WAS. Run this command after installing Enterprise Server for .NET.

Note: You can run all of the Enterprise Server for .NET components in self-hosted mode. To do this, use the command line functionality rather than the user interface.

To run the command:

  1. From the Windows Program menu, select Micro Focus Enterprise Developer > Tools > Enterprise Developer Command Prompt and run as Administrator.
  2. Enter the following command in the Administrator command prompt.
    wassetup
  3. ClickEnter.

Messages indicate its progress as it configures IIS and WAS.

The IIS and WAS environments are now configured correctly for Enterprise Server for .NET.
