To Open a Resource Definition File for Editing

1. In the Tree pane under Regions, select the region with the resource definition you want to edit.
2. In the Actions pane, click Edit CICS Resources.

   The Resource Definitions Editor opens in the Results pane.

To open a resource definition file which is not attached to a region, or a resource definition file which is deployed to the cross-region database.

1. In the Tree pane, under Configuration Editors, select CICS Resources to open the CICS Resources File Editor in the Results pane.
2. Choose File > Open to locate and open the resource definition. You can open a file from the file system, or from a cross-region database running on a network SQL server.
3. Use the CICS Resources File Editor to edit the file.
4. Click Save to save the file.
   Note: Restart any regions that use the resource definition for changes to take effect.
