To Define File Handler Configuration

This procedure demonstrates how to define File Handler Configuration for a CICS or JES region using the Enterprise Server for .NET Administration UI:

1. Open the startup file of the CICS or JES region you are configuring with the Region Startup File Editor. See To Edit a CICS Region Configuration and To Edit a Region Startup File Associated with a JES Region .
2. In the Results pane, expand the Region node and select the File Handler node.
3. Enter the file handler configuration statements in the Configuration statements edit box.
   Note: The format of the configuration statements is exactly the same as that which you would use in a standalone extfh.cfg file.
4. Click File > Save, or click the Save icon on the toolbar to save the file.

You must cold-start the region for the changes to take effect.
