To copy a region in ESCWA

To copy the definition of a single or multiple regions from a Directory Server in ESCWA
  1. On the Target Directory Server page, select the Directory Server you want to copy the regions from and then click Next.
  2. On the Select Regions page, check the region or regions that you want to export and then click Next.
  3. On the Security page, check the security options that you want to copy.
    Note: Their corresponding security managers will be included in the copy.
  4. Click Next.
  5. The page displays a summary of the regions to be copied. At this point the process validates that you have permissions to copy the regions and options you have selected:
    • If you need to change any of the selected options, click Back and modify your selections.
    • If the selected options pass validation and meet your requirements, click Next.
  6. On the Edit Regions page, in the New Name field, type a new name for each of the regions being copied.
  7. Next to each region being copied, check 64-Bit Working Mode if you want the copied region to operate in 64-bit working mode. Alternatively, leave it unchecked if you want the copied region to operate in 32-bit working mode.
  8. Check Clear TLS from Endpoints to configure all listeners in the copied regions to start without TLS.
  9. Check Clear Hostnames from Endpoints to configure all listeners in the copied regions to have hostname *.
  10. Check Clear Ports from Endpoints to configure all listeners in the copied regions to have port *.
  11. Click Next.
  12. On the Perform Copy page, a summary of the selected options is displayed. If you want to continue and copy using the selected regions and options, click Copy.
