Updates and Product Support

When you have installed, you need to apply the latest updates if there are any. .

Before you can access the Software Licenses and Downloads page, you need to register (first-time users only) and log in with Product Support. To register:

  1. Click Register on the Software Licenses and Downloads page.
  2. Enter your details. You will need your product serial numbers, which you can find in the subject line and body of either your Electronic Delivery Receipt email or Micro Focus Software Activation Information email that you received from Micro Focus when you activated or got a license key.

To log in:

  1. Enter your User Name and Password on the Software Licenses and Downloads page.

    We recommend you check Auto Login so you don't have to do this every time.

  2. Click Login.

The Software Licenses and Downloads page is now displayed, where you can find the latest update for your product and version number.

  1. Log into the Software Licenses and Downloads (SLD) site at https://sld.microfocus.com/mysoftware/download/downloadCenter .
  2. Select your account and click Entitlements.
  3. Search for the product by using any of the available search parameters.
  4. Click Show all entitlements.
  5. Click Get Software in the Action column for the product you want to download or update.

    In the File Type column, you see entries for "Software" for any GA products, and "Patch" for any patch updates.

  6. Click Download on the relevant row.

You will then be notified on a weekly basis, when you run this COBOL development system, if an update is available. The notification will include a link to the Product Support page from where you can access the update, as described above.
