Installation and Setup

The following section covers the client setup required before you begin using Acu4GL for DB2 on a new system.

Before you begin, you need to have:

• Access to an already installed and configured DB2 database.
• Configured any client software (if the server is on a remote machine), and verify a successful connection to the intended database.

You should consult your DB2 documentation for help with these tasks.

Once you have successfully connected to your DB2 database, continue with the Acu4GL-specific configuration.
