Adding a Gateway Service

  1. On the Gateway Services tab of the AcuToWeb control panel, click New.

The Gateway Services Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Click Browse to the right of the Gateway conf file field.

The Gateway.conf File dialog box is displayed.

  3. Select the required gateway.conf file, then click Open.

If you select a configuration file that uses a port that is already in use, a message is displayed informing you, and you must either change the port in the selected gateway.conf first, or choose another file. The check for existing gateway ports covers both 32-bit and 64-bit control panels, so if the configuration using the port is not showing in the current control panel, it will be in use through the other control panel.

Tip: You can view all the ports in use on your machine by browsing the following registry location: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\[NAME-OF-ATW-SERVICE]\
  4. If you need to edit the gateway.conf before it is added, click Edit and use your default text editor to update and then close the file. (Refer to Gateway Configuration Options for details on the syntax used.)
  5. Click OK.

The service is saved, and displayed on the main Gateway Services tab.
