When set to TRUE, this configuration variable prevents the following error:

ACCEPT recursion limit reached!
Further execution may cause unpredictable results.

from occurring when running a COBOL program under the following conditions:

• Using a remote desktop session
• Sitting on an ACCEPT statement within an event procedure
• Hiding and restoring the remote desktop session ten times or more.

The default for the ECN-4296 configuration variable is FALSE.
