Date and Time Settings Page

The Date and Time page is accessed by choosing the Receive option on the File Transfer dialog box, then choosing the Settings button. The Date and Time page is used to set the display format for decimals and date and time fields.

Date and Time Formatting

Specifies the date format for the files you are transferring. Choose from the styles listed below.

  • Day Month Year (dd/mm/yy)

  • Year Month Day (yy/mm/dd)

  • Julian (yy/ddd)

  • ISO (yyy-mm-dd)

  • IBM USA Standard (mm/dd/yyyy)

  • IBM European Standard (dd,mm,yyyy)

  • Japanese Industrial Standard (yyyy-mm-dd)

  • Format given by the AS/400 Data Description

  • Host Default

Specifies how the elements of the date are separated. The date style you chose determines which date separators are available for you to choose from. Possible choices are:

  • Slash (/)

  • Dash (-)

  • Period (.)

  • Comma (,)

  • Blank

  • No Separator

  • Host Default

Specifies the time format for the files you are transferring. Choose from the styles listed below.

  • Hours Minutes Seconds (hh:mm:ss)

  • ISO (hh.mm.ss)

  • IBM USA Standard (hh:mm AM or PM)

  • IBM European Standard (hh.mm.ss)

  • Japanese Industrial Standard (hh:mm:ss)

  • Format given by the AS/400 Data Description

  • Host Default

Specifies how the elements of time displayed are separated. The time style you chose determines which time separators are available for you to choose from. Possible choices are:

  • Colon (:)

  • Period (.)

  • Comma (,)

  • Blank

  • No Separator

  • Host Default

Specifies how decimals are separated. Choose from the decimal separators listed below.

  • Period (.)

  • Comma (,)

  • PC Default
