3.5.3 Closing a Printer Session

Closing a printer session breaks the session's connection to the host and closes the printer session's window. By closing a session, you free up PC memory and make the host printing resource available to other users.

You can close printer sessions individually. Closing the last open printer session is equivalent to exiting Extra!. If you have multiple sessions open, you can simultaneously close all sessions by exiting the program.

HINT:If you want to break the host connection without closing the session window, disconnect rather than closing the session.

To close a printer session

  1. From the File menu, choose Exit Session.

  2. If the session is connected, respond to the Disconnect prompt.

  3. If you changed session settings without saving them, respond to the Save prompt.
