Send Acknowledgement

If enabled, after receiving ENQ or after certain commands are executed, an ASCII ACK code is sent to the host. These commands include page print commands and font load commands.

Send Answerback

If enabled, the answerback message is sent to the host in response to an ASCII ENQ.

Answerback

Specify your answerback string. This string is sent in response to an ENQ from the host. Both Send Acknowledgement and Send Answerback must be enabled. You can use up to 20 characters, including control and special codes.

If you want to include the left brace ( { ) as part of your answerback string, it must be enclosed in quotes when typed in the dialog box, "{". The string will appear as typed, but only the left brace will be sent to the host.

Conceal

When selected, the Answerback message is concealed and cannot be redisplayed. To display the Answerback message, you must retype the Answerback message in the edit box.
