A collection of individual HotSpots grouped together and then named is called a scheme of HotSpots. You can apply a scheme to as many display sessions as you choose. This is different than an individual HotSpot, which can only be applied to the session in which it is created.
You can also apply a scheme to an individual host screen. Whenever you access that host - regardless of the navigation method used - the HotSpot scheme you specify will be automatically enabled.
To create a scheme of HotSpots
Create the HotSpots you want to have in your scheme.
Choose the Save As button.
The Save Scheme dialog box appears.
Enter a name for the scheme in the Save This Scheme As box.
Select from the Local Copy or Remote Copy options depending on where you want the scheme file to be saved, then choose OK.
To edit a scheme of HotSpots
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
From the Categories list, select HotSpots.
Select the Assignments tab.
In the Scheme list box, select the scheme you want to edit.
In the Defined HotSpots box, select the HotSpot(s) you want to change and choose Edit.
When you are finished making changes to the HotSpot(s) in the scheme, choose OK.
To delete a scheme of HotSpots
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
From the Categories list, select HotSpots.
Select the Assignments tab.
In the Scheme list box, select the scheme you want to delete.
Choose the Delete button.
All the HotSpots in that scheme are deleted.
To apply a HotSpot scheme to a host screen
From the Tools menu, select Record Pages.
Record Pages mode is on and any page that you move to will be recorded.
If the host screen page that you want to add a HotSpot scheme to is already recorded, skip this step and the next step.
Enter a Page Name for the host screen, or leave the name as the default, and select the Stop button.
Record Pages mode is stopped.
From the Tools menu, select Page Settings.
The Page Settings dialog box opens, with all recorded pages for this session listed in their groups on the left.
Select the Page Name from the list and choose the Settings tab.
Under the Available Settings list, open the folder labeled HotSpots.
Highlight the desired HotSpot scheme and choose the Add button to add the scheme to the host screen.
Choose OK to save your changes.
Every time you access the recorded page -regardless of navigation method -the HotSpot scheme you specify will be enabled.
