You can change your keyboard state from normal to the APL (Programming Language) mode by using a key that is mapped to the Toggle Keyboard command in the Action page. By default all 3270 keyboard maps have ALT+BACKSPACE key mapped to the Toggle Keyboard command in the Action page. You can, however, map any key to Toggle Keyboard.
NOTE:If you are installing over an earlier version of Extra!, you must enable the APL option in the Miscellaneous page of the Settings dialog box to enable use of your keyboard map in the APL mode.
