Copying a function on the working keyboard map

  1. Open a keyboard map.

  2. Click the key whose function you want to copy.

  3. Hold the button until the cursor turns from an arrow to a key with a plus (+) sign.

NOTE:If you are copying a combination keystroke (for example, a keystroke preceded by a SHIFT, ALT, or CTRL), be sure to press the SHIFT, ALT, or CTRL key before clicking the key.

  4. Drag the function to the desired key and release the mouse button.

The new function overwrites any function currently assigned to the key.

NOTE:If you are assigning the function to a combination keystroke (for example, a keystroke preceded by a SHIFT, ALT, or CTRL), be sure to press the SHIFT, ALT, or CTRL key before releasing the mouse button.
