On the Settings - Menus General page, you can:
Create a new menu
Edit an existing menu
Delete a menu

To map an action to a menu item
From the Options menu, choose the Settings command.
The Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the Menus category. The General page is displayed with a list of menus from which you can create a new menu, or edit or delete an existing menu.
Select a menu, then choose Edit and the Application Menu page is displayed.

Choose New, type a menu name into the New Menu box, and the Application Menu page is displayed.
Select a menu item from the list. In the Menu Command Details section, information about the menu item is shown.
In the Caption text box, you can add or change a caption for the new menu or menu item.
In the Map To list box, select an action: Menu Command, Keyboard Sequence, Macro, or Separator.
A Select button corresponding to the selected action appears next to the list box unless you have selected Separator, which requires no further selection.
NOTE:You will see the Action page in the Map Keystrokes, Map Macro, or Map Command dialog box.
Choose one of the following Select buttons.
The Action page for that button opens.
To assign a keystroke sequence to a menu item
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
The Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the Menus category.
The General page is displayed with a list of menus.
Select a menu, then choose Edit and the Application Menu page is displayed.

Choose New, type a menu name into the New Menu box, and the Application Menu page is displayed.
On the Application Menu page, select a new menu item.
Keystroke sequences cant be assigned to default menu items.
Under Menu Command Details, in the Caption text box, type a caption for the menu item.
In the Map To list box, select Keyboard Sequence.
Choose the Select Keystrokes button and the Map Keystrokes dialog box opens.
On the Action page, the default category, Miscellaneous, and default command, Send Keys, are selected as the only available actions to be performed when you choose the menu item.
In the Display list box, select a display type. In the Display Keys list box, keys are shown for the keyboard of the current terminal type.
Select a key, double-click the selected key, or click the Add to Keystrokes button.
The keystroke is added to the Keystrokes text box. You can add a string of keystrokes to a menu item.
HINT:In the Keystrokes text box, you can also type the sequence to send, including characters, function keys, and keys from the on-screen keyboard. You can enter up to 255 characters.
Click OK.
The keystrokes you have added appear in the Keystrokes box on the Applications Menu page and are identified as user-selected keys to be sent to the host.
To assign a macro to a menu item
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
The Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the Menus category.
The General page is displayed with a list of menus.
Select a menu, then choose Edit and the Application Menu page is displayed.

Choose New, type a menu name into the New Menu box, and the Application Menu page is displayed.
On the Application Menu page, select a new menu item.
Macros cant be assigned to default menu items.
Under Menu Command Details, in the Caption text box, type a caption for the menu item.
In the Map To list box, select Macro.
Choose the Select Macro button and the Map Macro dialog box opens.
On the Action page, the default category, Macros, and default command, Run Macro, are selected as the only available actions to be performed when you choose the menu item.
In the Macro list box, select a macro, then click OK. If you have macros stored in a different directory, you can choose the Browse button to find that location.
The macro you selected appears in the Macro Name box on the Applications Menu page. The macro runs when you choose the menu item in your host session.
HINT:If you map menu items to menu commands or to the run macro command, and those commands or macros have been secured, those items will not appear when the menu is loaded into the session.
To assign a menu command to a menu item
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
The Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the Menus category.
The General page is displayed with a list of menus.
Select a menu, then choose Edit and the Application Menu page is displayed.

Choose New, type a menu name into the New Menu box, and the Application Menu page is displayed.
On the Application Menu page, select a new menu item.
Menu commands cant be assigned to default menu items.
Under Menu Command Details, in the Caption text box, type a caption for the menu item.
In the Map To list box, select Menu Command.
Choose the Select Command button and the Map Command dialog box opens.
On the Action page, select a Category and a Command from that Category for the action to be performed when the menu item is selected.
Click OK.
The command you selected appears in the Command Description box on the Application Menu page.
HINT:If you map menu items to menu commands or to the run macro command, and those commands or macros have been secured, those items will not appear when the menu is loaded into the session.
To assign a separator to a menu
From the Options menu, choose Settings.
The Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the Menus category.
The General page is displayed with a list of menus.
Select a menu, then choose Edit and the Application Menu page is displayed.

Choose New, type a menu name into the New Menu box, and the Application Menu page is displayed.
On the Application Menu page, insert a new menu item, or select an existing menu item.
In the Map To list box, select Separator.
The separator character is added to the Caption box and cant be edited. The separator appears on the menu as a straight line.
HINT:If you map menu items to menu commands or to the run macro command, and those commands or macros have been secured, those items will not appear when the menu is loaded into the session. If you have added separators between those items, the redundant separators are removed at runtime.
