Your session type includes the connection type, the display/device type, and the file transfer protocol. When you create a new session, you choose one of each of these. However, you can change some of these settings later using the Session Type command from the Options menu. The file transfer protocol can be changed while you are working in your session.
However, we recommend that you log off from your host applications and disconnect from the current session before you change the connection type. You cannot change a session from display to printer, or from printer to display, in the display/device type field.
