Open a QuickPad.
Using the left mouse button, click one of the QuickPad handles. Continue to hold down the mouse button and drag the handle until the QuickPad is the desired size.

From the Layout menu, choose Resize to Fit. The QuickPad is reduced to the smallest size that will still accommodate the objects on the QuickPad.
