A path is a set of keystrokes used to navigate from one host screen to another. For 3270 and 5250 environments, the path also includes any AID keys you may use. When you record a session, the paths between each screen are saved to your recording file. You can edit the paths between screens.
This dialog box shows the user entries, terminal keystrokes, and the path from the selected screen page, so that you can:
add a prompt for the user to enter text
type in any text you want to be entered as if it were user input; for example, a logon ID
select keystrokes from a list to be added to the path entries
insert, replace, or delete key entries in the path
Following is a list of the options available in the Edit Path dialog box.
