You can record a series of host screen pages by using the procedures you would normally use to navigate through the host application.
Then, any time you want to display a particular host screen, you can choose Go To Bookmark/Page from the Tools menu and choose the desired screen name.
Once you have recorded host screens, you can also perform the following tasks:
Rename a host screen (for example, renaming Page001 to "Logon Screen", Page002 to "Main Menu", and so on)
Associate a QuickPad, macro, toolbar, or scheme (such as a color scheme or a HotSpot scheme) with specific host screen or group of host screens. Whenever you access that host screen (regardless of how you access that screen), the associated settings are invoked.
Example 3-6 Changing the Color Scheme
Set a recorded host screen to display with the "Ocean Blue" color scheme. Everytime a user accesses that screen--by using a bookmark that passes through the screen, or just by logging on normally--the screen will be set to your color scheme. The same applies to file transfer default (binary or text), HotSpots, macros, QuickPads, and toolbars.
Specify which host screens to use as bookmarks. Bookmarks make it easy to work with only the recorded pages in which you are most interested. For example, you might record ten host screens, but only be interested in navigating to the last one. When you specify that the last screen is a bookmark, only that screen will appear in the list box when you choose Go To Bookmark/Page from the Tools menu and choose View Bookmarks.
Create groups of host screens that you want to handle in a similar way. For example, if you want a particular group of host screens to use a specific color scheme, you can put those host screens together in a group and apply the color scheme to the group, rather than having to apply it to each host screen one at a time.
Perform advanced functions, such as customizing how the host screen is accessed or identified.
