The Page Settings Advanced Page

Using this page, you can edit either a recording (of a navigation path) to a particular host screen page, or edit Page Identification, such as the name of a recorded page.

NOTE:The Advanced Page is available only if you select the Expand Page Settings Dialog Box option in the Global Preferences dialog box.

The ability to edit recorded navigations provides a powerful method for tailoring the paths to your host screen pages, eliminating any unnecessary steps on the way. Five dialog boxes are provided with which you can manipulate your recorded paths. Depending on your selections, you might encounter the same dialog box at different points in the process.

Following is a description of the options available in the dialog box.

Terminal Type: Displays the type of terminal that was running when the recording was made. This cannot be modified.

If a plus (+) sign is displayed beside an item, the entries for that item are collapsed. These items can be viewed by clicking the Expand button. If a minus (-) sign is displayed beside an item, all of the associated entries are displayed. Click Collapse to hide the entries.
