View grammars found
From the data analysis tab () of the data detail panel, you can view a list of grammar classes and rules found in the selected data item. For unstructured data items, you can view the content identified by the grammar; for structured data items, you can view the name of the column in which an identified grammar value was identified.
View grammar rules found in unstructured data items
For unstructured data, you can highlight the content identified by the grammar values as you select grammar rules from the data analysis tab of the detail panel. The number of values for each grammar class or rule displays next to the grammar class or rule name. This number is the total number of values identified in the document and any attachments.
TIP: If your data list view is a result of a search that included a keyword search, the highlight color for grammar rule identification is a different color than the highlight color used to identify found keywords in collected documents.
To view the identified grammar rules, select a document from the data list in either the List view () or Detailed view (
), and then click the Data Analysis tab (
) in the detail panel.

Click a grammar class or rule row to focus the grammar rules list on the grammar class or rule. At this point, content is not yet highlighted in the content view.

Expand a grammar rule to view the grammar values found in the document.

Hover over a grammar class or rule and then click the associated check mark (
). This action selects the grammar class or rule and the associated values are highlighted in the content view panel.

If you select a grammar class, all values for all grammar rules within the class are selected in the grammar rules list and are highlighted in the content view panel. If not the first selected grammar class in the list, a black check mark displays instead of the orange check mark

If you select a grammar rule, all values for the rule are selected in the grammar rules list and are highlighted in the content view panel.

If you select an individual grammar value, the value is selected in the grammar rules list and is highlighted in the content view panel.

A dark or light orange check mark (
or
) displays next to the selected grammar classes, rules, and values in focus.

A dark orange check mark at the in-focus grammar class level indicates that all values for all grammar rules within the class are selected.

A dark orange check mark at the in-focus grammar rule level indicates that all grammar values for the rule are selected.

A dark orange check mark at the grammar value level indicates that the grammar rule is selected and currently in focus. In addition to being highlighted, this grammar value also has a red box around the value in the document view panel.

A light orange check mark at the in-focus grammar class level indicates that only some of the grammar rules or values within the class are selected.

A light orange check mark at the in-focus grammar rule level indicates that only some of the grammar values for the rule are selected.

A black or gray check mark (

) displays next to selected grammar classes, rules, and values that are currently not in focus.

A black check mark at the grammar class level indicates that all values for all grammar rules within the class are selected.

A black check mark at the grammar rule level indicates that all grammar values for the rule are selected.

A gray check mark at the grammar class level indicates that only some of the grammar rules or values within the class are selected.

A gray check mark at the grammar rule level indicates that only some of the grammar values for the rule are selected.

A red box around a highlighted value (word or phrase) in the content view indicates the grammar value in focus.

To change the focus of a selected value, do one of the following:
- Hover over a selected grammar value and then click the view icon (
).

Click the next or previous icons (

) in the grammar rule selection at the bottom of the detail panel.
NOTE: The grammar rule selection does not display if no grammar values are selected.

To deselect a grammar class, rule, or value, click the associated check mark.

If you deselect a grammar class, all grammar values for all grammar rules within the class are deselected in the grammar rules list and are no longer highlighted in the content view panel.

If you deselect a grammar rule, all grammar values for the rule are deselected in the grammar rules list and are no longer highlighted in the content view panel.

If you deselect an individual grammar rule, the grammar value is deselected in the grammar rules list and is no longer highlighted in the content view panel.
TIP: If a value remains highlighted in the content view panel after you deselected it in the grammar rules list, the value is still selected for another grammar value or rule.

If you select an attachment from within the content view panel, the list of grammar rules and values remains the same. However, if the grammar value in focus (highlighted in the grammar rules list) when viewing the parent document is not in the attachment, the check mark changes to black and the grammar value is no longer highlighted in the grammar rules list in the detail panel.
View grammar rules found in structured data items
For structured data items, you can see the identified grammars rules on the data analysis tab of the detail panel. Because you cannot view the content of structured data items, you cannot view the found grammar value. The grammar section lists the identified grammar rules and the columns in which the grammar was found.
To view the identified grammar rules, select a structured data item from the data list. In the detail panel, click the Data Analysis tab (). For each column name in the Columns with Sensitive Data section, expand the grammar classes and types to view the grammar rules identified. Columns in which no grammars were found are listed in the Other Columns section.
