Roles and permissions: Analyze

Data Discovery includes default roles at the Analyze application level. You can edit these default roles to modify permissions, or you can create your own roles with the desired permissions. In either case, the access and actions associated with the permissions cannot be changed.

When editing the default roles or creating your own, it is important to understand the permissions and how applying them affects users' capabilities within Analyze.

Permission Description
Apply and remove tags

Users can apply tags to and remove tags from documents.

NOTE: Must also have the Research permission to be able to view documents.

Research User can view, search, and export documents to CSV, as well as save a search results list as a workspace.
View dashboards

User can view all data available in the dashboards.
