Data Volume

The Data Volume dashboard depicts the growth of the data under management over time relative to repositories. Use Data Volume to keep track of the current data store under management.

You can view the data for all repositories or a specific repository. The counts displayed reflect the total document count or the total size on disk. Hover over a data point on the chart to view the number of items added on a specific date.

  • Documents Collected. The number of documents for which metadata and binary data have been collected and processed. All documents are also indexed. Attachments are not included in the count. Documents within email archives and compressed archives are included in the count.

  • Documents on Hold. The number of documents in the index that are currently on hold. This includes documents processed (metadata only), as well as those collected and processed (metadata and binary). Extracted attachments are not included in the count. Items within email archives and compressed archives are included in the count.
