Platform and System Requirements

.NET

All components using .NET target .NET 10.0 runtime. Depending on the component, it may require either the .NET Desktop or ASP.NET Core runtime.

Each File Dynamics package installer will install any necessary .NET system runtime. In cases where Internet access is not available, you must install the required .NET runtime as indicated below.

Supported Databases

SQL Server

This release of File Dynamics requires an instance of Microsoft SQL Server. The following editions of SQL Server are supported with this release.

  • SQL Server Enterprise

  • SQL Server Standard

  • SQL Server Express

 

NOTE: Due to size restrictions with SQL Server Express, consider using SQL Server Standard or Enterprise for larger deployments.

File Dynamics 26.2 follows the CouchDB lifecycle which only supports the latest two major versions.
