Server Platform Support

The following Open Enterprise Server (OES) platforms are supported as server hosts for scan targets:

NOTE: Older systems such as Open Enterprise Server 2018 may work, but are not supported as scan target hosts.

Cluster Services Support

  1. The NSS file system supports compression but only reports compression metrics at the volume level.

  2. File size-on-disk calculations use a fixed 4 KB block size.

Trustees

File Reporter OES only collects trustees for directories.
Inherited Rights Masks
(IRMs)
 
Security Equivalence For calculation of effective rights, security equivalence is collected for all objects that are direct trustees of any file system folder entry, as well as implicit trustees.
Rights Inherited from eDirectory All users in eDirectory that have Write or Supervisor access to the server object automatically have Supervisor rights to all volumes on that server.
eDirectory Inherited Rights Filters
(IRFs)
File Reporter OES does not currently collect IRFs.

Current Limitations

File Reporter OES does not support NetWare Traditional File System (TFS) volumes.
