Browsers and access devices can be in different time zones than the appliances and servers that they access because all time-stamp-associated actions are handled using UTC. However, if the desktop is not synced to a reliable time source, there could be some confusion. For example, a time stamp on the server might appear to be
in the future when compared with the time on the desktop.
