Importing an LDAP Server Configuration

As part of upgrading a Fortify Software Security Center instance, you must import your existing LDAP configuration.

To import your legacy LDAP server configuration:

On the Fortify header, click ADMINISTRATION.
In the left pane, select Configuration, and then scroll down and select LDAP Servers.
On the LDAP Servers header, click IMPORT.

The IMPORT LEGACY LDAP CONFIGURATION dialog box opens.
Manually copy the content of your legacy ldap.properties file for the LDAP configuration to import, and paste it into the text box.

If Fortify Software Security Center detects problems with the copied content, it displays an error message and a link to click for more information.

Note: The encoded Bind User DN (ldap.user.dn) and Bind User Password (ldap.user.password) values are not imported. You must enter these manually (see Configuring LDAP Servers).
Correct any problems, and then click NEXT.
Configure the attributes described in the table in step 4 in Configuring LDAP Servers.
To check the validity of the configuration, click VALIDATE CONNECTION.
To check the validity of and save the configuration, click SAVE.
