Submitting Training Data to Audit Assistant

The following procedure describes how to submit training data to Audit Assistant for assessment. In prior version of Fortify Audit Assistant, all data transferred from the Fortify Software Security Center environment was anonymized and used to train the G1 model. In version 23.2.0 and above of Fortify Audit Assistant your data enables Fortify Audit Assistant to make predictions that are more accurate and relevant to the applications running in your environment. The data you send is non-sensitive metadata derived from and calculated based on your audited scan results.

By default, the primary custom tag will be used as the Fortify Audit Assistant Training Tag if an Audit Assistant training tag is not selected or configured as "not Set".

To submit training data to Fortify Audit Assistant:

  1. From the Dashboard, hover over the application version of interest to reveal the actions menu. Select the OVERVIEW, ARTIFACTS, AUDIT or TREND page for the application version.

The Data last sent for training field shows the date and time training data for the application version was last submitted.

The Data last sent for training field is updated with the current date and time.

  5. After sending the training data, the Data last sent for training field is refreshed with the updated date and time.

  7. On the application version toolbar, click ARTIFACTS, and then check to see whether the Status field for your upload is Complete.
