Updating the Fortify Audit Assistant Configuration

After upgrading your Fortify Software Security Center installation to version 23.2.0 or later, you will need to configure it to work with Fortify Audit Assistant 23.2.0 or above. Fortify Audit Assistant adds a second generation (G2) prediction engine and is required for use with Fortify Software Security Center 23.2.0 and above.

To update the Fortify Software Security Center connection to Fortify Audit Assistant:

  1. Create one or more G2 Prediction Policies. For more information, see Defining Prediction Policies.

    Note: You can not use the Prediction Policies created with versions of Fortify Audit Assistant earlier than 23.2.0. Once you upgrade Fortify Software Security Center to version 23.2.0 or above, first generation (G1) policies are no longer available. They were removed during the upgrade. You must create new Prediction Policies that work with the G2 engine.

  2. On the OpenText header, click Administration.

  3. In the left pane, click Configuration and then click Audit Assistant

    The Audit Assistant page appears.

  4. Select the Enable Audit Assistant check box.

  5. Click the Refresh Policies button and then save the configuration.

    If Audit Assistant is correctly configured, the AUDIT ASSISTANT REFRESH POLICIES window appears with the message: Refresh was successful. All prediction policies in SSC are now consistent. Click OK.

  6. In the Default prediction policy box, select a policy to use as the default. If you don't assign a prediction policy to an application version, the default you select here will be used. Click SAVE.

  7. (Optional) Select the Enable specific application version policies check box if you would like to be able to set prediction policies at the application-version level.

  8. (Optional) Select the Enable auto-predict check box if you would like Fortify Audit Assistant to automatically apply predictions to the unaudited issues in your project.

  9. (Optional) Select the Enable auto-apply check box if you would like Fortify Audit Assistant to automatically apply predicted values your custom tags.
