High-level deployment tasks
The following table lists the high-level tasks you need to perform for Application Security deployment.

| Performing the initial configuration | ||

Perform the initial configuration (provide the license file, create the database tables, initialize the database schema, configure some core settings, seed the database, and so on). |
There are two ways to do this:

| 6 | Sign into Application Security for the first time to set up a non-default Administrator account. | |

Complete the core configuration settings such as configuring single sign-on, administering users, registering LDAP entities, managing LDAP user roles, and creating custom attributes that users can assign to their applications. |
