Locating the Log Files
By default, Fortify Static Code Analyzer creates two log files in the following location:
- Windows:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Fortify\sca<version>\log - Non-Windows:
<userhome>/.fortify/sca<version>/log
where <version> is the version of Fortify Static Code Analyzer that you are using.
The following table describes the two log files.

The Fortify Support log provides:
This log file is primarily helpful to Micro Focus Fortify Customer Support or the development team to troubleshoot any issues. |
If you encounter warnings or errors that you cannot resolve, provide the Fortify Support log file to Micro Focus Fortify Customer Support.
