Running the post-install tool

You can use the post-install command-line tool to migrate properties files from a previous version of OpenText SAST, configure OpenText Application Security Content updates, and configure settings to connect to Application Security.

To run the post-install tool:

1. Go to <sast_install_dir>/bin/.
2. At the command prompt, type scapostinstall.

3. Type one of the following:

   • To display settings, type s.
   • To return to the previous prompt, type r.
   • To exit the tool, type q.
