Log in to Identity Governance.
In the title bar, select Your User Name > My Settings.
Expand the Delegate Mapping menu and click Assign Delegate.
Specify a delegate and select an assignment type.
(Optional) Select a reason and specify the start and end date of delegation.
Activate the delegate mapping.
Click Save. Identity Governance automatically checks your mapping and adds a green check mark icon in the Status column to indicate that your mapping is valid.
(Conditional) If you see a red error icon in the Status column, edit the mapping and fix the invalid mapping.
NOTE:If you see a gray warning icon, no action is needed. The gray warning icon indicates that the current date is not in the date range you specified. The icon will automatically disappear when the data range becomes active.
(Optional) Repeat the above steps if you want to delegate a assignment type (for example, Request Approvals) to another user.
(Optional) Select Edit to modify the delegate, reason, effective dates, or status.
(Optional) Select Delete to terminate a delegation.
