2.2 Accessing the OpenText Core Identity Intelligence and managing users

For the users to be able to use the Information Console, the customer administrator must login to the OTDS Admin portal and create users, assign user to a group.

2.2.1 Logging into OTDS admin portal as customer administrator

Perform the following steps to login to OTDS admin portal using the one-time password and reset with a new password:

  1. Using a web browser, access the URL in the following format: https://<tenant_name>-otds.cyberresprod.com/otds-admin.

    <tenant-name>: Specify the tenant name with which you have registered/created in the cloud environment.

  2. Specify the following:

    idiOtdsAdmin

    Old password

    One-time or first-time password provided by the Systems Team.

    New password

    Specify the password satisfying the password requirements.

    Confirm new password

    Re-specify the new password in the field.

  3. Click Change.

  4. Sign in using the new password.

Create users in OTDS admin portal

  1. Login to OTDS admin portal as idiOtdsAdmin.

  2. In the left panel, under Setup, click Partitions.

  3. Select idi partition, click Actions > View Members.

  4. Click Add > New User.

  5. In the General tab, specify the mandatory details of the user such as User Name, Email (same as user’s LDAP ID). Click Next.

  6. In the Accounts tab, in Password Options, select the option Require Password change on reset.

    1. Under the Initial Password, specify the Password and Confirm Password.

  7. Click Save.

2.2.2 Adding users to a group

To add the user to a group, perform the following steps:

  1. Login to the OTDS admin portal as idiOtdsAdmin.

  2. Under Setup, click Partitions.

  3. Select idi partition, click Actions > View Members.

  4. From the list of users displayed, select Actions for the user you want to assign a group.

  5. Click Edit Membership > Add to Group > select idiGroup@idi > Add Selected.

  6. Click Close.

2.2.3 Logging into information console as a customer administrator

To use the information console, the Customer Administrator must obtain one-time password from the Systems Team and reset the password during their first log in.

Perform the following steps during your first-login as a Customer Administrator:

  1. Using a web browser, access the URL in the following format: https://<tenant_name>-informationconsole-ssl-analytics.cyberresprod.com/iportal.

    <tenant-name>: Specify the tenant name with which you have registered/created in the cloud environment.

  2. Specify the following:

    Specify the password satisfying the password requirements.

    Confirm new password

    Re-specify the new password in the field.

  3. Click Change.

  4. Sign in using the new password.

2.2.4 Accessing information console as a user

In the information console, you can edit, run, schedule, share, and view predefined reports. To access the Information Console, perform the following steps:

  1. Using a web browser, access the URL in the following format: https://<tenant_name>-informationconsole-ssl-analytics.cyberresprod.com/iportal.

    <tenant-name>: Specify the tenant name with which you have registered/created in the cloud environment.

  2. Specify the User name, Old password, and New password satisfying the password requirements. Re-specify the new password in the Confirm new password field.

  3. Click Change.

  4. Sign in using the new password.

  5. In the left panel, under IDI Volume, click Documents to access the predefined reports.

2.2.5 Resetting password as OTDS administrator

NOTE:If you are a user and have forgot the password or need to reset the password, contact the OTDS admin to get your one-time password and reset the password.

  1. Login to the OTDS admin portal as idiOtdsAdmin.

  2. Click Users & Groups, from the list of user names displayed, select Actions for the user name for which you want to reset the password.

  3. Click Reset Password.

  4. In the Reset Password prompt, specify the password in New password, Confirm new password.

  5. Click Reset Password button.

NOTE:If you are a OTDS admin and have forgot the password or need to reset the password, contact the Support Team to get your one-time password and reset the password.
