Feature Classification

IDOL Media Server can search for certain types of features in an image, providing ways to classify the images.

For documents, it can extract the following information:

• text

  NOTE:

  If there is no text in your document, Media Server might return nonsense, so you must filter the results.

• barcodes
• logos (you must supply logo images)

For general photos, it can extract the following information:

• faces (including face characteristics)
• text
• logos
• clothing (this feature requires the location of the wearer's face)
