The IndexNumbers parameter specifies whether to index numeric and alphanumeric values.
If you do not want to use numeric or alphanumeric values for querying at all, set IndexNumbers to 0.
To index all numeric terms, set IndexNumbers to 1. This option might result in a large number of terms if your documents include many numeric terms.
To index alphanumeric terms, but not purely numeric terms, you can set IndexNumbers to 2.
You can also restrict the IndexNumbers setting for individual fields by setting up a field process. For example, if you generally want to index all numbers, but for certain fields you do not want to index any numbers, you can set up a field process to restrict the index numbers for some fields.
For example:
[English] IndexNumbers=1 ... [SetIndexNumbersFields] Property=IndexNumbersFields PropertyFieldCSVs=*/DRECONTENT [IndexNumbersFields] IndexNumberstype=True IndexNumbers=2
In this example, IDOL Server generally indexes all numbers in index fields, but in the DRECONTENT field, it indexes only numbers that occur as part of a word.
