There are four term actions that accept the Stemming parameter: TermGetAll, TermGetBest, TermExpand, and TermGetInfo. The general idea is always the same: whether to return the results in stemmed form (Stemming=True), or unstemmed form (Stemming=False). However, the behavior of this parameter depends on the action that you use.
TermGetAll and TermGetInfo. The Stemming parameter works normally for the TermGetAll and TermGetInfo actions. It specifies whether to return the results in stemmed or unstemmed form.
TermGetBest. Only the terms which have more document occurrences than the UnstemmedMinDocOccs configuration parameter are returned.
TermExpand. When the Type parameter is DocOccs and the Stemming parameter is False for the TermExpand action, it returns counts only for the exact unstemmed form. Counts for the stemmed form are disregarded.
