GuideWire Connector
The GuideWire Connector is a Knowledge Discovery Connector that retrieves information from GuideWire. You can use the connector to keep your Content component text index up-to-date with the information that exists in the data repository.
Features and Capabilities
You can connect to a GuideWire Policy Center or a GuideWire Claim Center.
Most of the documents created by the connector are metadata-only documents. When the connector creates a Knowledge Discovery document to represent Notes or ClaimNotes, it adds the note text to the document content.
When the connector creates a Knowledge Discovery document to represent a Policy Center "Document" or a Claim Center "ClaimDocument" it downloads and includes the binary file (where available).

Mapped Security
The connector supports mapped security.
- Knowledge Discovery documents that represent Policy Center objects support producer code security (users are granted access based upon "producer codes"). If producer code security has not been enabled for a user in GuideWire, the user is added to an "all producer codes" group that grants access to all documents.
- Knowledge Discovery documents that represent Claim Center objects support assignment based security, where users have access to claims based on the users and groups that have been assigned to that claim.
