From the Viewmenu, click Status Bar.
If the status bar is already displayed, clicking Status Barwill hide the status bar. If the status bar is not displayed, clicking the Status Bardisplays the status bar.
A check mark appears next to this menu item when the Status Bar is displayed and disappears when it is hidden.
