From the TCP/UPD Path Optionsdialog box select TCP.
Click Configure.

Remote port |
Selecting an option from the drop-down sets Value to the standard port for the selected protocol. To configure other port values, select OTHER and type the port in the Value field. |

Local port |
The default value (Auto Selected) lets the TCP/IP transport determine which local port to use. To specify a specific port, clear this option and enter the local port number in the Value field. |
Miscellaneous options

Connect |
Click this option if all communication between the PC and the host will be initiated by the PC. If you click this option, you must also specify a connection time-out in the Timeoutbox. |

Listen |
Click this option if all communication between the PC and the host will be initiated by the host. |
|
Timeout |
Type the number of seconds (1-65535) that the TCP/IP Transport should wait for an acknowledgment from the host that the connection is complete. If the TCP/IP Transport does not receive an acknowledgment within the specified amount of time, it tries to connect with the host using the Alternate IP Address Or Domain Name (if one is specified). If no alternate IP address or domain name is specified, or if no acknowledgment is received from that address, then a connection time-out error message appears. |
Alternate path
If desired, type an alternate IP address or domain name. Specify the remote port type and number.
If the TCP/IP transport cannot connect to the host using the IP address or domain name specified on the TCP/UDP Path Options dialog box (due to a connection time-out or an unsuccessful connection attempt), it will try to connect with the host using the IP address or domain name specified here.

Security type |
To encrypt the session when it uses this IP address, specify one of the security options, depending on your situation. Keep in mind that if the connection cannot provide the specified level of security, the connection will fail. If you select CryptoConnect, specify the IP address or domain name of another CryptoConnect Gateway rather than an alternate host. NOTE:SSL/TLS connections use digital certificates for authentication. Depending on how your certificate was issued and the way your host is configured, you may need to install a host and/or personal certificate before you can connect using SSL/TLS. |

Encryption strength |
Select autofor best results. The host and computer will negotiate the best possible encryption strength. If you choose a value that cannot be attained by either the host or the computer, the connection may fail. |
